Moving is so stressful, isn’t it? I don’t know how some of you guys can move clear across the country, let alone how you military women move across the world so regularly! I have made some relatively big moves in my day, but they have always been throughout my state. So I have had the benefit of remaining in the same culture, the same society (and the same burdensome taxation) all my life. Even so, whether it be far or near, moving is stressful and tons of work.

Here’s a little tip to help alleviate the burden some: the Move Builder Blog. It’s a blog written by a handful of contributing bloggers (Karen, Mark, Rachel, and Becky have posts up right now), and they offer advice, tips, and some very cute humor (like the Best Quotes to Say Goodbye). The blog is a branch off the main website, a site stuffed to the gills with articles, tips, moving resources from the experts. They even have a section for government/military families and an FAQ/submit a question section.

This is a great site to pass along to your kids who are moving out, moving away, or if you are making the big change yourself. It’s very readable and organized, too.
