Holy cow. Am I really watching a spambot attack?! I am being slammed with comment spam on all my blogs- all of them. TONS and TONS of spam and they are all coming from the same IP or two: 94.102.60.151 or 94.102.60.152. And then there are probably more. It’s a IP I have traced to the Netherlands.
What’s weird is that I’m getting this stupid crap on all my blogs, and I’ve read one other blogger saying the same thing (with the same IP address). And what’s weirder is that a very old blog that I was once a part of (it was a group blog, and there were many authors) is getting spammed by this idiot, too.
It’s weird! Are you getting spammed, too? I can’t believe there isn’t any real way to detect this jerk and lock him up for life….

I receive spam almost everyday. It gets pretty frustrating sometimes, but then there is no point in being frustrated. I just do my best not to be affected by them.

Wow! How weird is this…I am getting the exact same thing on ALL my blogs. Blogs that have been completely insulated from spam and have NEVER had a problem. I am quite freaked out about this…especially in light of recent hack attacks that we were just reading about.
I started a thread about this…did you see it?

I have the exactly same spammer/s constantly sending spam comments over. But my website is buit on WP and I use Akismet plus I moderate all comments.
Although I first got pissed on the issue, I banned the IPs (3 different ones) and I see it’s showing results, as today I got nothing spammy. And from 15-20 spam comments per day to none so far today is something.
We’ll see how the rest of the day goes.

Are you running Akismet? It really helps in filtering comment spam.

what worries me is that the person(s) are getting away acting childish. plus is this leading up to something a lot bigger?

I’ve in inundated with spam these last few days too - on both my blogs. Aksimet isn’t catching these new ones. It’s so annoying.
