If you are one of those people who are “out of touch” with past friends and colleagues, have I got some cool news for you! It’s MyLife and it’s a combination social network/communication hub/people finder. I saw the video to see exactly how this works, and it’s a pretty nifty website! It’s not like “Googling” someone (which is kinda creepy, if you ask me). MyLife has a very unique setup- after registering to join the network, you can create your profile; search for people by name or school or whatever; build a special page for yourself to keep your profile and maintain a contact list; connect with friends and family anywhere, and manage your communications through the MyLife website. MyLife is not cheesy or sparse like some other search engines, and it’s definitely not creepy like those other “people finder” websites. MyLife is special because it’s a social networking hub, and not just a place to search records for names. The video is very informative; it’s on the main webpage at the top; look for “See how MyLife works.”
I’ve really enjoyed making new friends, thanks to the Internet; it would be so cool to connect with old friends on it! I moved around a lot as a kid, and lost touch with so many people. I’d love to strike up a friendship again, so they can see how witty and charming I’ve grown to be.
If you’ve been looking for past friends, family, or business colleagues, MyLife is one site you definitely want to look at. It’s easy to register, and the site is very user-friendly.
P.S. With MyLife, you can also see who’s been searching for you! That’s a great feature.

I’m a married mom with 4 kids. We live in Upstate New York in an old 1855 house with our five pets (yes, five, *sigh*). Life is never dull, and exciting things just seem to always happen to me... why me... when I'm not running around the house fixing things, I do freelance writing and blogging for national media outlets.
I've even been interviewed by TIME and The Wall Street Journal about blogging. Can you believe it?! Here is where I express my zany, creative, motherly side. Read more
