I missed it.
A SUPER SUPER DUPER deal on a laptop. I got the notification in an email (if you don’t get their emails, you should- they showcase the most incredible deals) about an HP laptop with a dual-core processor, 80GB hard drive, and XP Pro, for $299 with shipping! Of course, it’s factory refurbished, but I have purchased refurbished stuff from Buy.com and have found them to be very reliable. This would have made a great computer for one of the kids, for *another* one of their projects or for school.

Oh well. I guess I have a kitchen to pay for, eh? I have enough electronics, really. What I REALLY need are KITCHEN ACCESSORIES! :jittery: Yay!
And of course Buy.com has them. I’m looking for storage stuff, mainly. My old kitchen was very cluttered (wow, what an understatement that is), and I am determined to make sure it doesn’t happen again. We intend on having a “beverage center” where I will also store all the appliances (you know, the can opener, the blender, the food processor, the billion other little gadgets that we use only 1-2 times a year!). They make up a lot of clutter. Isn’t this rattan bread box beautiful?

I also liked these white canisters.

So classy! They also have a red set that I really like. So I wonder if I should get the red, which I like because the kitchen decor will be red, or get the white, which is clean and classy. Decisions, decisions….
So anyway, as much as I love seeing the deals in the weekly sale email… I do really need to spend my money on the kitchen right now.
And THEN I can buy more electronics!

Yes, that bread box is beautiful. It’s a lot nicer than the old metal we one we used 40 plus years ago. Today, our bread is homemade without preservatives, so it’s kept in the refrigerator.
Pity you missed the laptop deal.
