Well, we busted our car’s taillight again. Hee hee, oops. We had a problem with the brakes, and fixed them without any problems… but in our rush to get the job done, we forgot to pump the brake fluid through the system. So when we backed out of the garage to park the van, it just kept on going!! Thank God no one was hurt- the back of the van hit our picnic table and broke the taillight. But this is the SECOND time we have hit that dang picnic table and broke the taillight!! Gah!! I have got to move that table… and replace the light.
Last time, we turned to the Internet, and we’re doing it again. The Net offers a much better selection of styles, anyway. And if you’re looking for some classy and very fancy custom headlights, there’s a sweet selection at Carid.com. This is a site for the car-conscious or car collector- the headlights and car accessories just ooze class. They’ve got grill guards, spoilers, hitch covers, bug guards, and all that stuff, but the headlights and taillights are very, very slick. They have them for just about every model and make, too. I can see a car collector going ga-ga over that stuff. I know I will be keeping the site in mind when I (finally) get my Lamborghini. 😉 In the meantime, it’s another taillight for my Dodge.

Life is never dull, and exciting things just seem to always happen to me... why me... when I'm not running around the house fixing things, I'm a freelance writer for national media outlets like USAToday.com, Salon.com, and others. I've even been interviewed by TIME and The Wall Street Journal about blogging. Can you believe it?! Here is where I express my zany, creative, motherly side.
