And I thought I’d seen everything. It must be really tough to find that perfect match. Actually, it no doubt is. In the “olden days,” young people relied on childhood friends, schoolmates, family friends, and church to find one’s spouse. Life is way, way too hectic today. And unfortunately, fewer people are relying on parental wisdom and the church to help build relationships and families. More folks are relying on social networks- online and off. There’s one website called “equestrian cupid” that is different than the others. At first glance, you might think it’s about breeding race horses (that’s what I thought, anyway!), but it’s not. It’s really about people getting to know each other who have similar interest in horses!
Years ago, I would have thought (like many did) that meeting someone through a dating site was awful; it was for people who weren’t socially “rounded” so to speak. But I have met couples who found each other online and they are really making their marriages work! It’s kind of neat. So if you are looking for a special someone, and if you are really into everything horses and the country life, maybe you’d want to take a look at something like the equestrian cupid site. It’s cute. They offer FREE sign-ups. Relationships are stronger and more likely to last if a couple has strong similar interests.
