Friday Fill-In #40

Update: Oh YEAH. I wrote this post THIS MORNING but totally forgot to hit “Publish.” LOL.

Friday Fill-In is middle-aged, now! Woo hooo!!! Let’s cut to the chase. I am in a no-nonsense mood today. :rollingpin:

1. ____ is my ideal winter night.

Lights out.
Fireplace lit.
The scent of spicy Chai tea in the air.
All chores done.
Pets all quiet.
Nothing to do.
I’m at peace.

…I really, really need to get a fireplace….

2. I don’t remember the last time I ___ but, I really want to.

Really, really relaxed. I mean REALLY. If you’re a mom, you know what I mean. If you’re a working mom, double that. I’m always wind up as tight as a watch, it seems. I keep waiting for that *perfect* some time when I can just totally relax but i haven’t found it yet, consistently.

3. I will never turn down __________.

An emoticon. I love them. :bananaguitar: I use them every chance I get. :grinny:
They can express my utter joy so easily.

When I’m mad, I can blow off steam.

When I’m frustrated, I can bang my head without getting hurt.

I can crack really dumb jokes and they are still funny because I have this icon:

I love emoticons.

4. To save money I like to ____________.
….. uhhh………. work more. Although, saving doesn’t seem to come into the equation, even then. I am a terrible saver. If I’m not throwing as much money as I can at my renovation debt, I’m giving it away to people. I pray that when the time comes when I am in need, God remembers me. “Cast your bread upon the water, and after many days you will find it again.”
