This post brought to you by Cooper Tires. All opinions are 100% mine.
Out with the old, in with the new, as they say.
Yes, we're changing the car tires again. 🙂 Now that it's June, I *think* it's safe to take off the winter tires. It DID snow last week, by the way. Thank God I still had my snow tires on. But THIS week, it's so hot that the roads are blazing and I think my snow tire treads are melting!
So now we have to get new all-seasons because my old ones are, well, old. As in bare treads. As in "I'll get a ticket if a cop catches me driving on these slippery suckers" treads.
But have you seen the cost of tires lately?! Our mechanic prices ONE tire for my husband's SUV at $250!
Well, I've got good news for me. And for you, if you need new tires. Check out the Cooper Tire Spring Savings Event. It's just in time. You'd think that Cooper Tire has our backs and knows about our seasonal tire change, huh?
The event means good savings on tires: Buy a set of four qualifying tires and get a Visa Prepaid Card worth up to $80 in the mail. Sweet! From my own searching, Cooper Tires are usually the best bargain. The tires are good quality yet reasonable priced. Perfect for us frugal folks who can't afford to spend $1,000 on new tires.
Check out the website link for more information on the Cooper Tire Spring Savings Event. The event goes on until June 30. You can also use their handy dandy search tool to find dealers in your area, too. It's a great deal!

Life is never dull, and exciting things just seem to always happen to me... why me... when I'm not running around the house fixing things, I'm a freelance writer for national media outlets like USAToday.com, Salon.com, and others. I've even been interviewed by TIME and The Wall Street Journal about blogging. Can you believe it?! Here is where I express my zany, creative, motherly side.

You had snow in May? WTH man. We’re finally getting 90s down here. It’s like a month late.

Our mechanic uses and recommends Cooper Tires too.
When Moe had the Jeep Liberty, his tires were expensive but a few months before we traded it in, we needed tires and we got a really good deal with Cooper Tires.
Stay cool!
God bless!
