After blogging about the goofy Geek Squad labeling on my crossover cable package, I did a little search to see if anyone else has found goofy labeling. While I didn’t find many photos of the labels, I did find long lists of them. And they include some of the STUPIDEST labeling I’ve ever read!! LOL!! First, the photos.
I’ll betcha this garment didn’t sell well at the store:

I love this!

This is medicine for a dog:

I can’t verify that all the following are genuine labels. One website said that New Scientist Magazine listed some of these in their March 1998 edition.
On the package for a Batman costume: Cape does not enable user to fly.
On a steering wheel lock: “Warning — remove lock before driving.”
On a Korean kitchen knife: “Keep out of children.”
On a carton of sleeping tablets: “Clinically proved night time sleep aid… Warning: May cause drowsiness…”
On a Chinese packet of peanuts: “Open packet and eat contents.”
On a shampoo bottle: “Use repeatedly for severe damage.”
On a flower pot: “Houseplants are for ornamental use and should not be consumed.”
On a pudding packet: “Warning: product will be hot after heating.”
On a bottle of milk: “After opening, keep upright.”
On a new iron: “Never iron clothes on the body.”
On a Swedish chainsaw: “Do not try to stop the saw with your hands.”
On an can of insecticide: “Kills all kinds of insects… Warning: this product is harmful to bees.”
On a buoy: “Protect from seawater.”
On Little Ones Baby Lotion: “Keep away from children.”
On Arm & Hammer Scoopable Cat Litter: “Safe to use around pets.”
On Komatsu Floodlight: “This floodlight is capable of illuminating large areas, even in the dark.”
On earplugs: “These ear plugs are nontoxic, but may interfere with breathing if caught in windpipe.”
And I found this funny photo- not a label, but it’s hilarious! LOL, I wonder what happened in the end… hmmm…..

Love the pill bottle. Friends don’t let their friends’ dogs drive drunk.
The cat/husband ad is great, too. However, if I was ever married to someone who told me it was him or the pets, we wouldn’t be married for long. People ought to know that the person they’re marrying is an animal lover and therefore love animals themselves before marrying them. In other words, my ad would say, “I’ll pay you to take him.”
