Grrrrr.
:nyah:
I dislike crows. They seem to know that I despise them, so they gather in large groups and descend upon my house every morning (around 5am), to cackle and flap their wings and leave their ugly black feathers littered all over my yard. And then, they and blue jays gang up on my poor geriatric dog-who wouldn’t hurt a fly-to munch on her dog food while she sits forlornly nearby.
The black-hearted brutes.
My cats are terrified of the crows, and for good reason. These monsters grow to be as big as the cats. Apparently all that super-nutritious dog food creates monster muscles for crows.
Did you know that a flock of crows is not a “flock”? It’s a “murder.” A murder of crows. What an apt name. Because that’s what I feel like doing to them! Gah! :hmph:

Life is never dull, and exciting things just seem to always happen to me... why me... when I'm not running around the house fixing things, I'm a freelance writer for national media outlets like USAToday.com, Salon.com, and others. I've even been interviewed by TIME and The Wall Street Journal about blogging. Can you believe it?! Here is where I express my zany, creative, motherly side.

Ever since I read the book The Stand, I have been terrified of crows. ‘Murder’ seems apt.

Oh, they are a menace! I wonder if you can put out something that would scare them away from the dog’s food-like a plastic coyote or something? I think I saw them at a sporting goods store once. Bullying the dog is just crossing the line.
