Don’t leave me, guys! it’s just a busy week for me! I have been traveling and trying to squeeze in the typical laundry/dishes/cooking/cleaning/kid-management/cat-care jobs while trying to keep my job, my husband, and my travel blog at the same time.
NOT. EASY.

Life is never dull, and exciting things just seem to always happen to me... why me... when I'm not running around the house fixing things, I'm a freelance writer for national media outlets like USAToday.com, Salon.com, and others. I've even been interviewed by TIME and The Wall Street Journal about blogging. Can you believe it?! Here is where I express my zany, creative, motherly side.

And the new header IS a little … edgy. I paid good money for it, though. SO until I can afford a new one (or take the hours to make my own), it stays. Got any suggestions on what would be better? I’m open.

I’m like way lagging on everything at this point. You’d think with only 3 days of school and 4 days to do nothing but maybe a little homework I’d have time to do other things but I don’t lol. I haven’t had time to even up date my blogs or maybe it’s more of I’m not in the mood :/

Hahaha! Actually, I’ve been having weeks like you too, and so, my comment was probably because I’m trying to catch up on my blog reading. It’s so hard to stay on top of it, isn’t it? Such a busy time of year.
Don’t worry-sometimes I breathe a sigh of relief when I see a post up there that I have already read. It makes me feel less guilty about not posting. 🙂

Lin, thanks for your comments. They always brighten my day. 🙂 I have taken to the habit of reading everyone’s blogs on my mobile phone. It’s SO convenient to read blogs on that thing but SO difficult to post comments. I’ve been horrible at that lately.
I’m looking forward to winter just because I am stuck in the house and have more time to write and blog comment!

I have been a bad blog reader lately. I haven’t checked out the many blogs that I used to read almost daily or even weekly. I have had a lot of things on my “to do” list so have been busy with that. I wish there were more hours in a day!
