We’ve got snow, lots of it. We had a big storm yesterday, and got clobbered. When I checked at 8am yesterday morning, probably about 1 or 2 inches had fallen. Two hours later, we got about 5 inches. Woohoo.
So how much snow do you think the old tree can bear? 😮
Visibility maybe… 100 feet?
After all was said and done, we wound up with 9 inches. Not too shabby.
It’s said that February is the most difficult month. Good thing it’s so brief.
How’s the weather where you are?

Life is never dull, and exciting things just seem to always happen to me... why me... when I'm not running around the house fixing things, I'm a freelance writer for national media outlets like USAToday.com, Salon.com, and others. I've even been interviewed by TIME and The Wall Street Journal about blogging. Can you believe it?! Here is where I express my zany, creative, motherly side.

I will tell you how our weather is on one condition and that is you don’t clobber me. Agreed? *take a step back* It’s absolutely beeeautiful here in sunny East Tennessee with temps in the mid 50s.
The snow is absolutely gorgeous, but I know many of my friends in neighboring states, as well as across the country are so over the white’s stuff accumulating. It’s been a wild winter to say the least.
Keep warm and think happy thoughts…spring is on its way!
Have an awesome weekend!

Hi Rebecca
Thank you so much for all the funny, informational posts. I come every day to see what you are investigating/talking about. Love the Livvy too. I have a 4 year old rescued kitty. Love him lots.
The weather here today is freezing. For us in California it’s like being in the Artic. Have to go run warm water to thaw out my hands. lol
Take care and have a great weekend. At least it’s sunny!!! Blessings Mary

We had about 30-foot visibility yesterday. We got about a foot of snow, which makes for not so great snowboarding. 😛 Cool pics!

I’m just tired of the cold and snow. I figure we have another month of this before it starts to break. I hope I can make it. It sure would help if the snowdrops and crocus I planted would just humor me and show their pretty little heads.

We were in the 70’s today after having a cold front yesterday in the 30’s. Weather in Oklahoma changes so fast that I don’t even pay attention anymore.

I, too, am tired of snow and ice. Living in the midwest you would think I would be used to it but I am not. Hence why I have spent as little time in Iowa during February as possible. Last week Texas, next week North Carolina. Good to have children who live in warm weather states!

Our Pastor’s willow tree fell over in the last storm we had Friday-lots of ice. We got like 10 inches in one day!

We FINALLY got some well needed mositure in the form of snow last night! woo hoo!! We have had zip in moisture since before Xmas so I have had to water my flower and garlic gardens every couple of weeks! I love the weather this weekend and the snow is already gone 🙁

We had a couple of inches of snow, which I easily removed with the tractor’s scraper blade. The sun quickly removed the little bit of residue left on the drive. I think you’ve had much more snow there in NY that we’ve had here in west MI.
