Holiday Gift Shopping Time!

OH NO, you probably groaned! But YES! This is the time when I hit the stores, scarfing up sales left and right, hoarding up for next year’s gift-giving/birthday gift season. I scour the ads, the online stores, and local stores for discounts and sales. And some people haven’t even had their Christmas- the Orthodox religion celebrates Christmas in January, apart from the Catholic December Christmas.

We also have a bunch of December and January babies around here. Can you believe that I know TWELVE people who have birthdays in December and January?! So for me, the shopping is NOT over. I managed to snag a few last minute gifts from Kmart, and they are still going strong with great deals. There’s a Craftsman 23-inch hand tool box I have my eyes on for $20. And a very cute Cars LeapFrog Leapster Learning Game for $25. Kmart has a ton of stuff for under $25, still. Some stuff is deeply discounted. You can check their website for the weekly ads, or get updates via email. Kmart is currently offering two $5 Kmart gift coupons if you sign up to receive their emails. I signed up! 🙂

Be frugal! Get next year’s shopping done this year. You can save a ton of money. AND get it all over with and RELAX when the next holiday season begins….
