Yah, I wowed the kids when I told them I could read Chinese, hee hee.

Inside the box is the cutest little gadget- a USB-powered handheld fan. It has a clip attached to it. I had no idea who the mushroom pilot was until one of the kids said it was a character from a Nintendo game. Whatever. I love the fan. I’m going to use it to keep my laptop cool during the dog days of our humid New York summer.

You see, I have the unique situation of having no electricity in half the house, particularly the upstairs, where I keep my laptop. And it gets STEAMING hot upstairs, let me tell you. With no electricity up there, the extension cords are premium real estate, and I can’t be plugging in lots of fans to keep the upstairs cool. But I’m afraid my precious Toshiba laptop will melt; so, this USB-powered fan is the perfect thing! Isn’t it adorable?! My son saw it and wanted it, but he’ll have to get his own, haha!

I got the little fan from BudgetGadgets, here. It’s a really nice fan- it works better than those cheesy Dollar Store fans at my local store. And this one has an on-off switch, plus soft fan blades (so my kitten won’t get her whiskers sheared off when she gets too close). I really love it!
