I have mentioned this online store, Alice.com a few times here, as a possible store I’d like to do business with. You can read my reviews of Alice.com here and here. The last time I talked about Alice, I placed an order. Well, on Tuesday the Ugly Pooch Snatcher (my dog’s name for the UPS man) delivered my box!!!
I placed the order on December 30, and it arrived early morning January 5th, on schedule. I think it would have arrived earlier if I hadn’t ordered between two holidays, but oh well. My order was small, because I wanted to try out Alice before placing a huge blitz of stuff. Shipping is FREE at Alice.com, no matter how large your order.
I’m very, very pleased with the batteries purchase. They were cheap, at $6 for a pack 12 AAs. The kids love their tea, I love my Altoids. And Livvy LOVEs her Meow Mix. It is her first time trying this cat food. I’d say it’s a hit.
I think I love Alice.com! I just hate going to the grocery store, and it’s always so thrilling to get stuff in the mail. Alice.com has a lot of stuff: toilet paper, coffee, laundry detergent, crackers, pet food, and tons and tone of stuff. Alice applies coupons automatically; I got three applied to my order, saving me $1.50 off my order. I have to pay sales tax, though, and New York State charged me $1.99 for it. :-p
The only negative thing I can think of is that Alice.com does not take PayPal. I dislike using my credit card, because of the interest rates. I hope Alice.com takes PayPal soon, it would be the epitome of perfection if they did.
So what do I think of Alice.com? THUMBS UP! I’m going to order again from them soon. If you want to register (which is free to do), maybe you’d be so gracious as to click through my affiliate link, in the sidebar? It saves you some money, and earns me a small amount, too. That would enable me to buy a bigger box of Meow Mix for the little princess! :D

Many people like grocery shopping online, but since Bill loves doing the grocery shopping I don’t have a thing to worry about since I hate shopping period.

Get a paypal credit/debit card. That’s what I did so I could make sure I use my Paypal account and I actually like it better because I know if it does get stolen they won’t have access to my checking accts information because I don’t have the option turned on to take from my bank acct if the paypal acct does not have enough money for it.
