Vanilla wrote an interesting blog post this morning, entitled, “I Have Never.” It included a list of popular things of our culture that he has never done. It got me thinking, and I thought it would make a nice meme for a Friday. Here’s my own list of things that I have never done:
I have never seen American Idol, reality TV, or Dancing with the Stars, or any of those other shows.
I have never smoked a cigarrette, taken illegal drugs, or been drunk.
I have never used coarse swear words.
I have never had a tattoo.
I have never gotten a traffic ticket.
I have never skiied.
I have never been to a sports arena and never watched a sports game.
I have never bowled. I have never played golf.
I have never bought Tupperware. Or Scentsy. Or Mary Kay. I think I bought something from Avon 30 years ago.
I have never had a manicure, a pedicure, or a massage. I never will.
That’s all I can think of right now. How about you? What have your peers done that you haven’t done?
Life is never dull, and exciting things just seem to always happen to me... why me... when I'm not running around the house fixing things, I'm a freelance writer for national media outlets like USAToday.com, Salon.com, and others. Well done. I’d say you are living well, treating yourself and others with respect. I would have to admit I have done the sports things, except for skiing.

I’d say you are missing out on some good stuff there, pally. I’d re-think the manicure, pedicure and massage thing.

Yes you need to rethink the massage thing!!!!
I have only had a professional massage once (it was a gift) and it was so wonderful and relaxing, words can not even describe it. I felt the pain go away, the stress go away, the tension go away…it was awesome. :luvs:
I have never had a professional manicure or pedicure but heard a pedicure is awesome. So, would like to get my sis to go with me soon. :beebop:
