After long hours writing articles all day, my brain is fried and the house is a disaster. I took most of the month of June off, working sporadically. Vacation is over. So in the evening when I need to come up with something here, I’m dry. Oh, I have a number of stories in my head, but I’m too pooped to post.
It doesn’t help that I’ve been guzzling my daughter’s high-octane coffee and staying up long past my bedtime….

Life is never dull, and exciting things just seem to always happen to me... why me... when I'm not running around the house fixing things, I'm a freelance writer for national media outlets like USAToday.com, Salon.com, and others. I've even been interviewed by TIME and The Wall Street Journal about blogging. Can you believe it?! Here is where I express my zany, creative, motherly side.

I find those stories in my head sometimes demand to be written at three or four in the morning. Thus, lying awake; yet I refuse to get up and type before six.

Yep. Been there. Whenever I have too many articles to write for work, I’m fried when I get home. There isn’t a word left. Or there is, but it’s lame or it isn’t spelled right and it doesn’t go well with other words.
I always think of the best posts when I’m nowhere near a camera….or a computer. What’s with that???!
