Ever ride in a Z-28 car? I did, waaaaaaay back in the late 80s when they were “hot.” Besides the speed and lounge-like front seats (I got the front seat, my brothers were squished into the bicycle seat-sized back, hehe), the sound system was INCREDIBLE. My friend said it was like “sitting in a speaker.” :D
Well, I never bought a Z-28 for myself. Nope, I bought a minivan. :-? And if you have ever ridden in a minivan and tried to play the “stereo” in those, you know what music sounds like in a tin can, now don’t you? :-p Hey, at least some have DVD players (not that I approve of that)… I’ve been wondering WHEN they are EVER going to set up an iPod dock or something. CDs are SO early 2000′s. But if the car cannot go to the music, well then the music can go to the car.
Good gravy, people, prepare for lift off.

Wokka wokka! :jittery: How’s that for music technology!
It’s the Dual XDMA 7650 from Dual Electronics, a 2-step motorized mobile receiver, and has direct USB control for iPod and iPhone devices! It will play CDs, WMAs, MP3…. just plug in your iPod or iPhone and listen to your favorite tunes! It has a wireless remote controller, and 3.5mm auxiliary input and 3-RCA preamp outputs. I think it’s a stunning piece of gadgetry. The thing will also charge your Apple devices. It sells for about $200 retail (the XDMA 7650 was just released at retail stores across the nation).
So if you’ve been looking for the perfect gift for the music lover who has everything (everything except a Z-28, that is), check out this sweet device. Gee, be a sweetheart and maybe even get it installed for him or her. ;)
