Another Monday! I can’t believe it’s been a whole week since we left Virginia. 🙁 I miss the ocean.
Questions:
1. What is your favorite bagel flavor?
Hmmm…. I don’t eat bagels that often. I rarely eat breakfast (even the smell of food in the morning makes me queasy). When I lived in New York City, I ate bagels, though. Those deli bagels were HUUUGE. A whole meal and more. They packed them with an entire 8-ounce bar of cream cheese, I think. I can’t believe I used to eat those (although it took me all morning and most of the afternoon to do it).
Oh, yeah, favorite flavor. Well….. I already read Carole’s post today… and Carole, I hate to tell ya but I like the Everything bagel best. *ducks*
2. If you had an extra $100 right now, what would you spend it on?
*sigh* Only $100?
I drove by my house the other day and got a good, hard look at the 100-year-old windows. They look BAD. $100 would probably buy 1/3 of a window. I’d probably tuck the $100 in savings toward that.

Was it really last summer that we gutted the kitchen and put in a window, too? It seems like a million years ago.
3. What is the last thing that you felt guilt about doing?
:-p Like Atlas, I always feel I must bear the weight of the entire world on my shoulders. Better ask me what I DIDN’T feel guilty about! The list would be a lot shorter!
4. Soft serve ice cream or hand dipped?
Whatever. I like hand dipped (that term DOES sound yukkyy- I prefer a SCOOP not someone’s hands!) because there are more flavors. Why is it there are so few flavors for soft ice cream?
5. Are you allergic to anything?
Nope.
Thanks for reading! 🙂

Life is never dull, and exciting things just seem to always happen to me... why me... when I'm not running around the house fixing things, I'm a freelance writer for national media outlets like USAToday.com, Salon.com, and others. I've even been interviewed by TIME and The Wall Street Journal about blogging. Can you believe it?! Here is where I express my zany, creative, motherly side.

Well, I won’t hold your love for everything bagels against ya. I make my bagel shop put those messy, stinky bagels in their own bag, away from the other bagels, so they don’t “contaminate” them, LOL.
I can’t imagine what all you have to feel guilty about? Well, whatever it is, make sure you counter balance it with recognizing what a hard working, God fearing, super Mom, awesome friend, and very successful blogger you are! 🙂

You’re lucky to not have any allergies 🙂 it would certainly make life easier.
Have a great week!

Hi, it’s just one donna visiting for Meet Me on Monday. New windows is definitely a worthy expense, but you are so right, $100 won’t take you far. Sigh.

I feel you on the windows. I made the mistake of counting how many we needed to replace. FOURTEEN! A severe bout of depression followed. I’m thinking I can live in a drafty house a little longer. :o)

I love the look on your son’s face in that photo. 🙂 Note to self: get that hammer away from him!

I can’t eat when I get up either, unless someone wants to see me upchuck it right afterwards lol I have to be up at least an hour or so before I can stomach anything.
As for the allergic to bees, must be a southern thing since we have a ton more different kinds down here? Just a thought. I found out when I was a tot crawling around in the backyard and got stung on my hand.
