Yuk, the Halloween decorations are really out in full force now. When I was a kid, nobody decorated for Halloween! Today, it’s practically a national holiday! Yuk! They have these great big air-filled ghosts and pumpkins and spiders in their front yards, orange lights, cotton gauze strung in the trees… even ORANGE Easter eggs snapped to the bare twigs of poor trees.
Here in my area, we started to see Halloween decorations sprout up in the stores in mid AUGUST. That’s crazy! I mean, it’s crazy for October 31st… but mid-August?!
