I’m blog hopping tonight and seeing people complain how “freezing” they are- at 25 degrees F! LOL! Here in New York, that’s tropical weather! ;)
I’m jesting. 25 degrees is a little chilly. I get cold when it gets below 15. And it’s been below 15 for a good solid 4 to 5 days now. Makes me long for some warmer weather. We are actually hoping we can get a mini-vacation sometime after the New Year. <
We usually try to go overnight somewhere during the winter every year, when the rates are lower and crowds are smaller. I don’t mind the chilly weather. One gorgeous place I’d love to stay is the Hilton Promenade at Branson Landing. We got to stay at something like Branson once, when we attended an insurance/financial convention, years ago. We brought the kids and it was an absolute blast.
At the Hilton Branson Convention Center Hotel, it’s so luxurious and there is so much to do, you need not ever leave. I’d probably be a permanent fixture by the indoor pool (imagine! ooohhhhh it sounds so good) or feasting on the sumptuous meals. But of course, we’d get out to see the sights. I love museums and the kids love natural science and history places. We do have definite plans to travel across the United States; the kids have been saving up for it.
Rates are very good during the winter months, so if you have a hankering to do some travel, check out Branson. They are currently having a Winter Escape Package at the Hilton Promenade at Branson Landing. Prices are great and crowds are few. MaybeI’ll see you there sometime. ;)
