That’s been my head. As in, full of.
So I’ve been insanely busy for months on end… and am still quite busy now… but I seem to be in a bit of a slump. I rarely have trouble blogging or writing, but this week or two it has been almost agonizing to write anything, let alone think of a topic. I just can’t seem to get motivated with the same super-duper energy right now. Is it just me? Am I suffering from burnout? Is it the weather change? I partially attribute it to the weather. Its been cold, damp, and horribly gray around here. Rather gloomy. Central New York State is a pretty cloudy area, but sheesh, you’d think it was foggy old London or pluvial Seattle, Washington or something. Funny thing about NY weather- it’s either blistering hot with sauna-like humidity, or dismally gray and dank. We do enjoy a dose of glorious moderate weather now and then, but it’s not been enough to slake my thirst for sunshine and mild temperatures. It’s no wonder that so many New Yorkers have fled the drenching dispositions, and sought out sunny Tucson relocation services for a more affable climate. Still, you can’t beat New York autumns- they are exquisite…. when it’s not raining incessantly, that is. Which, it is.
I’d actually be quite happy to fall into winter hibernation mode right now, but I must yet muster the energy to finish up a few projects around the house. We do still have holes in the walls and no heating system yet. 
But at my rate of energy, I’ll be needing professional movers to get me going! I’m actually looking forward to a season of rest and repose, even if it is going to be spent huddled in blankets in front of a heater. 
Maybe I can catch up on all those books I want to read!

At any rate, it seems like I’m in a slump. I don’t want to DO anything, I don’t want to GO anywhere. I want to curl up in my blankies with my cat at my feet, and read. But such ecstasy must wait, at least until I finish laying cinder blocks to close up the broken basement window, and pound on the exterior window trim and siding around the new window…. in the rain, of course. :-p

I think you should take a break and relax with your cat. That last cat picture is so cute! I feel tired now too and am heading to bed. It’s been quite stressful the last few days with my computer disconnecting from the Internet sporadically the last few days. I finally bought a new modem and finally got brave enough to hook it up today. It seems to be working much better so that mush have been the problem, Whew! That’s sad you do not have a heating system. Hope you have some heavy blankets to keep you warm. I suppose you could sleep in a coat!

Karen- yesterday I just sat on the couch with my kitty and read part of my book. It lasted for only an hour, but it was very nice.

It must be that time of year because I’m exhausted and all I want to do is lie on the couch with the cat too! I wonder if there is a Camp Mom where that’s all we do for a week. Doesn’t that sound like a good idea. But we’d have to go somewhere with heat because that sounds really chilly at your place right now. Eeek!
