I am 110% against abortion. Period. Unborn humans are human beings, and innocent life should never be taken. I’ve written several Letters to the Editor about this issue (and have received enough hate mail to last me a while). But I am not against stem cell research and stem cell therapy, not when it is the stem cells of adults being used (and adult stem cells have proven to be just as, if not more, effective than that of an aborted baby).

It is a fact that Adult Stem Cells are MUCH more useful than Embryonic Stem Cells. You are correct that Adult Stem Cells are now being used to treat Diabetes, Heart Disease, Parkinson’s, Multiple Sclerosis, Cerebral Palsy, and 100 more diseases. These stem cells have no side effects and more importantly improve the patient’s quality of life.
On the other hand, even if there were no ethical/moral issues asscociated with Embryonic Stem Cells, they aren’t able to help any condition. In fact, they are decades away from helping anyone.
