Classic FAIL. And it doesn’t look staged to me. Ouch. But hey — at least that pricey windshield wiper is OK!

I finally had to break down and get Windows 8 (required for work). It should be here in a few days. UGH. I’m dreading the change. I’d downloaded the Preview Beta version as a beta tester over the summer and hated it. I also ordered a full version of Windows Vista so I can partition the hard drive and dual boot. I intend on using Vista for just about everything else and Windows 8 only for my work-related articles. I’m not looking forward to the change. Is this a sign of getting old??

We had our first snow of the season this year, but then *poof* it was gone. Too bad. Then again, we still don’t have our space heater installed, so maybe that’s a good thing!

Things still pretty busy here. I don’t know how you guys do it, working 9 to 5 and still having time for Facebook, blogging, email…. I’m pooped.

Speaking of which, this made me crack up. HAHAHA! :hilarious:

I’ll end on that note. Have a good weekend and see you next week!

Life is never dull, and exciting things just seem to always happen to me... why me... when I'm not running around the house fixing things, I'm a freelance writer for national media outlets like USAToday.com, Salon.com, and others. I've even been interviewed by TIME and The Wall Street Journal about blogging. Can you believe it?! Here is where I express my zany, creative, motherly side.

I’m with ya on the work thing—I work “part-time” and I can’t get to everything I need to. I’m exhausted constantly. I can’t post on the blog or blog-hop when I’ve had a busy day at work-I just don’t feel like being on the computer.

Not want to change to Windows 8 does not mean you’re old, just wise.
