When I type, my keyboard buzzes. It’s annoying.

While I could easily be a “crazy cat lady” and am drawn to cats no matter where I go, I worry about pet owners who give their cats middle names. It seems… odd.

Do any of you guys want a free audio/video tour of New York City? I recently reviewed a mobile app called Racontours and they gave me a coupon code to pass along to any interested pals. All you have to do is email Oscar at Racontours with the coupon code NEWYORKTRAVELER. Oscar is a nice guy, and he’ll send you a Racontours code so you get a free tour on the app.
I was very impressed with the tours. Some are huge, lasting a few hours, and have images and videos and interactive questions. The history is pretty amazing. You don’t have to be a NYC city slicker to enjoy the app. 😉 It’s great history and I think it was put together very well. You can read my review with screenshots at my travel blog.

Who makes the CAPTCHA stuff for Blogger? Have you noticed that some of the CAPTCHAs now contain photographs? I wonder who took the photos for them…

My local supermarket has a great bakery and I know a few of the people who work there. They make beautiful (and yummy) cakes. So for the few weeks leading up to my birthday, I purchased small cakes for the family to eat. I called them “Almost-Birthday Cakes.” Now that my birthday is past, the husband says I should continue my newly-formed tradition. We can have Post-Birthday Cake and Post-Post-Birthday Cake and One-Month-Anniversary-of-My-Birthday Cake….

Every once in a while I get fed up with the Firefox browser. This is one of those times. It’s bloated, it stutters, and it won’t load videos quickly enough. We tried to watch a PBS video, “Michael Wood’s The Story of England” the other day (which is a very good show) and Firefox would only load 5 seconds of the video at a time between 10 seconds buffering. UGH. I used Internet Explorer and the video worked.
I don’t think the Firefox problems are my (few) plugins. The issue occurred after I updated the browser a few weeks ago. I almost always regret updating it, I have such problems afterwards.
So, I’m trying Opera again. I have always liked Opera’s speed and minimal look, but it seemed a bit foreign to me. Oh, not any more. I like the sleek look and it does resemble Firefox a bit. Best of all, it loads websites much more quickly AND plays videos. Yay.

Isn’t this so sweet?

Have a happy week, pals.

I hate Captcha! :grumble: Too often, it seems to me, the text is not readable. Then there are those that use Captcha AND moderate comments. What’s with that? :gah:
I’ve been having the same problem with Firefox. :banghead: I haven’t run speedyfox lately, which is supposed to help speed Firefox. Sounds like the line, “In order to serve you better . . .” :nonono:
I love that final snippet. It is classic. :luvs:

Chuck, I knew you’d like that final snippet. And whoa, dude, you must really like those smilies, eh? Were you able to get them for your site?
I think Firefox is just too big right now. It has been crafted to be the “end all” Internet portal. All I really want is a browser. Firefox is too big for me, now. I’m liking Opera (again). I’m so fickle with browsers…. I can’t believe we only have 4 brand choices when it comes to browsers!

I’ve always like Opera and thought it to be way faster than anything else but it just didn’t afford me some of the add-ons like stopping those stupid ads everywhere. I don’t want to see them at all.
