Who doesn’t love pizza?? I have never yet met anyone who doesn’t. Even frozen pizza from the grocery store has improved. Oh, I remember the days when it used to be a mere step up from spicy cardboard, but today’s FRESCHETTA pizza brands are pretty good. I love the Naturally Rising pizza, the husband likes the “gourmet” pizza. He likes to munch on the pizza on his breaks at work or late at night. The only problem was the size, the “one size fits all” pizzas. At work or late at night, the last thing you want to do is bake a whole pizza. And leftover frozen pizza is not very good (not in my opinion).
The good news is that there’s a new pizza in town! It’s the FRESCHETTA® By the Slice! I was given a coupon to check it out. Because this kind of pizza is still relatively new, my grocery store had only one kind, the Chicken, Spinach & Mushroom (the “gourmet” kind of pizza that the husband loves, though!). FRESCHETTA also offer a Six Cheese Medley, Vegetable Medley, and the BBQ Recipe Chicken (which sounds incredible and will be my first choice once my grocer stocks it).
As always, FRESCHETTA pizza is yummy. 🙂 Not too salty and not too spicy. Spinach on pizza tends to be a little strong, but this was very mild and savory. I don’t care for the creamy style sauces (I prefer tomato), but the husband LOVES this stuff. The crust is thin, another plus for the husband. He liked it a lot. The one slice was just enough to satisfy his rumbling stomach, lol.
I really like the idea of the single slice. It’s much more economical than buying a whole pizza. The new FRESCHETTA is a great product for lunch breaks, dinner breaks or midnight snacks. I can’t wait to try to BBQ chicken.
Now about the giveaway. FRESCHETTA was so happy to have me review their product that they sent me a coupon and a special plastic storage container set to give away! The container sets are perfect for carrying to work or school. The coupon is good for one free FRESCHETTA® By the Slice.

The pizza looks so delicious! I’d love to try it. 🙂 I really like the pizza you can buy and stick in the oven for dinner. Some of them are really good, and it’s a very convenient dinner. Thanks for the giveaway! 🙂

I actually made homemade pizza over the weekend. Turkey pepperoni and cheese 🙂

I hope I am not too late!! I have tried Freschetta not too long back and it was actually pretty good. The pizza did not really have that processed taste to it. Although I prefer homemade, some frozen pizzas are pretty good when time is limited.
