It’s snowing out today. Very pretty snow, with big wet flakes. It’s brought to us by Lake Ontario and those pesky western winds. Hey you pals in Michigan- thanks for the weather. 🙂
I like snowfalls like this. Everything settles down into a cozy peacefulness. And I am stricken with the sudden urge to cook, which always delights the family.
Today, I’m making Manhattan Clam Chowder. Good stuff.
If you are interested in the recipe, I posted it here: Manhattan Clam Chowder. I didn’t get up early enough today to put it in the crockpot, so I’m cooking it on the stove. It needs a little more babying that way, but it comes out just as well. And it cooks faster, too.
How is your Saturday today?

Life is never dull, and exciting things just seem to always happen to me... why me... when I'm not running around the house fixing things, I'm a freelance writer for national media outlets like USAToday.com, Salon.com, and others. I've even been interviewed by TIME and The Wall Street Journal about blogging. Can you believe it?! Here is where I express my zany, creative, motherly side.

I am replying on Sunday regarding my Saturday…it was nice.
My sis came over and we played a card game called Phase 10. We listened to pandora.com and laughed a lot.
Today I went to dinner with my sister and one of my nieces. It was really fun. We had some really awesome food at Kirby’s. Everything about Kirby’s was good, the food and the service. I have to say that I have never had a bad experience with them.
Tomorrow and Tuesday, Moe and I will probably take some nice drives.
He is on vacation this week. I took off Monday and Tuesday from babysitting so that Moe and I can get out of the house.
Have a blessed week!
-Oh by the way, the toolbar question was about Clipix. I was wondering if you had to install a toolbar in order to “clip” different sites.

You are welcome, but we Michiganians don’t deserve any credit. We only pass along what was dealt to us by our cheese head friends in Wisconsin. 🙂
