Save Time AND Money

Shopping is such a hassle! Ugh! Between the traffic, the crowds, the road construction and altered routes… I try to avoid shopping as much as I can, but -hey- the kids have to eat, I guess, huh? And sometimes my local stores have some pretty good sales that I like to check out. But driving makes me nervous, and in my area, the town has changed a number of highways and road patterns to deal with increased congestion, so I’ve kind of lost my way.

Not only can maps show routes and give directions, NAVTEQ maps can show stores, businesses, etc. You can get detailed maps of where you need to go, and not get lost or confused or stuck in some dead end. Very cool.

A NAVTEQ map update would also make a very nice holiday gift, especially for a traveler or a frazzled housewife who frequently loses her way even in her own hometown (*cough cough*). I have used a smart phone to try to navigate around…. but take it from me- you can’t figure out where you’re going WHILE driving and squinting at the tiny smart phone screen. Uh, nope. So a NAVTEQ navigation device built-in to a car is a very nice feature. I’m sure there’s someone in your family would love it for a gift. 😀
