SlimFast: Rich with Flavors and New Choices

It’s been a long time since I tried Slim-Fast drinks. After having scads of children, I drank SlimFast ready-made shakes to lose a few pounds and boost my nutrition. I used to fast a lot as a young lady, too. I don’t do it so much anymore, as my health took a nose dive a few years ago, but I am building back my strength and starting to feel better.

I remember those SlimFast drinks…. Despite the appealing flavors (especially chocolate and vanilla), I honestly can’t say I ever LIKED drinking SlimFast then. The beverages seemed chalky and I used to have to force myself to drink the stuff. The instant nutrition perk was great but the drink was not very tasty.

Well, I picked up a SlimFast tonight, though (had a great coupon!) and tried the Chocolate Royalle powder shake mix. Oh my goodness- what a difference! The drink was SUPERB! SlimFast recently improved their flavors and they are not kidding! I couldn’t tell it was the “old” SlimFast stuff, it tasted just like a typical chocolate shake drink. It was delicious!

Lots has changed with SlimFast. They have recently developed the SlimFast 3-2-1 Plan, a plan that incorporates several SlimFast products for a well-rounded, nutritious plan to help lose weight quickly without suffering nutitional loss, or losing the dieter’s interest! Everyone knows that if a diet is not both nutritious AND appealing, it won’t work. SlimFast knows this, so the SlimFast 3-2-1 Plan blends their meal bars and shakes with recommendations on healthy snacks like fruits and veggies. Pretty neat.

I was also surprised to see such a SlimFast variety. Years ago, all I remember was the pre-made shakes. Today, there’s the powdered shakes, the pre-made shakes, tons of different snack bars including chocolate with pretty decorations, etc! My daughter looked at the shelves full of choices and said, “Now THAT’s how to diet!” The flavors have improved, too. I was SO tempted to get Strawberries N’Cream or Cappuccino Delight, but I opted for Rich Chocolate Royalle. Very, very VERY good.
