These days, everyone is shortening words. So “guac” stands for “guacamole.” Believe it or not, I have tasted guacamole only once, a teeny-tiny bit. It was OK. I guess I never found any use for avocados much. But I hear they are packed with nutrition, so I’m now more inclined to eat them. That, and I have found some nice party food recipes for guacamole. :D Did you know that there’s an entire Facebook page dedicated to Avocados from Mexico? They have some nifty recipes and more- everything you wanted to know about avocados! I admit, the photos do look so good. Yum.

Part of the sweepstakes involves you sharing your own secret ingredient for making guacamole. I know, you may have to pry the secret from Grandma’s cold, stingy hands, but we’re talking about a TRIP here. The least you can do is promise Grandma a postcard, k?
