Well, I am working this evening, but I’m taking my time and doing things that I like to do.
Laptop in the dining room (away from my disastrous desk piled with bills and etc, heh heh)…. spiced eggnog… rose-scented candle… Christmas music in the background.

I’m a married mom with 4 kids. We live in Upstate New York in an old 1855 house with our five pets (yes, five, *sigh*). 
Life is never dull, and exciting things just seem to always happen to me... why me... when I'm not running around the house fixing things, I'm a freelance writer for national media outlets like USAToday.com, Salon.com, and others. I've even been interviewed by TIME and The Wall Street Journal about blogging. Can you believe it?! Here is where I express my zany, creative, motherly side.

I could take a picture of where I’ve been hanging out but I don’t think a pile of nasty tissues, open cough drop sleeves, empty glasses, and anything else I’ve left on the coffee table will do it justice lol

Oh, the spiced eggnog looks delicious!! Did you make it yourself? I love a nice relaxing scene like that…..ahhhhhh. 🙂
