Well well, so the Red Chair Confessions secret is finally out! The cat is out of the bag, the beans are spilled! And ladies and gentlemen, I will have you know that the Freaky Frugalite was right in her guess- it really IS about shopping!! What did I tell you!!! The illustrious advertiser wants me to inform all of you who have been waiting with baited breath about the mystery… The videos are by Talbots, that super-chic clothing and accessory company! Ooo lala. Talbot’s has verrry high end, fashionable and classy ladies’ wear. They are underway, changing their traditional image to be a little more “chic” and “hip” for the modern woman. I had my suspicions all along- the lady in the video was dressed so stylishly- she couldn’t fool me! The latest video that has been blitzing the blogosphere is released today.

[Now, honestly, I love Talbot's, but I haven't been too keen on some of the videos, not the ones with the s*xual innuendos that have her confessing to a priest. I think that they were a little too "hip," if you know what I mean. In the marketing world they say that s*x sells, but I didn't like the innuendos in the videos, and the slight irreverence of the character in the confessional. I will admit, however, that I loved the previous video with the therapist, though; that was funny, heehee. I don't recommend this video for kids, though... so...]

So surprise! This has been Talbot’s big marketing blitz. I saw several other bloggers mentioning the spree… did any of you guess what it was?
