My web hosting service for my four other blogs was down AGAIN today. Thanks to you Entrecards droppers who sent me a message. I sure appreciate that. :D

I’m in desperate need of finding a new web host. I keep procrastinating about it. It is such a pain to transfer everything! I need all the help I can get! I’m grateful for the Web Hosting Geeks- they have the most comprehensive list and details of the best web hosting on the ‘Net. The Web Hosting Geeks have everything organized in lists (I love these guys): by rating, by awards, by reviews, and by resources. The reviews, many submitted by customers, are especially enlightening.

I’m going to go over every company on their list, one by one, and figure out which one I will choose. I was guaranteed 99.9% uptime by my current web host, but I think I am getting only like 85% uptime. That’s lousy. :-p

    I have godaddy for about a year now, and have not had any major problems. Customer service is awesome!

    Who is your current host? You should let the world know about their poor service.

    I use VPSLand, and Host Monster, among others.

    I use Bluehost for my other blogs; Whip An Orbit for this blog. It’s Bluehost that I hate. Whip An Orbit is rarely ever down, and if someone Stumbles me, it can handle it. But Whip An Orbit has had some financial problems, and I’m uneasy with how long they’ll be around. We’ll see.

    My main gripe is with Bluehost. I am ALWAYS getting “CPU Exceeded” errors even when my CPU is not exceeded, and the Database is always having errors, etc. I can’t say I’ve found much to brag about with their customer service, either- maybe I always get the cranky employee?! but I am not happy with Bluehost. And if someone Stumbles me, down goes my sites again. :-p

    I have several webpages/blogs with my hosting plan with godaddy.com and do not have any complaints. Good luck to you.

    I have a non-blog site on GoDaddy, and I’m getting ready to move it; I only set it up so I could see how their performance was compared to their pricing. I’m not overly impressed. My blog is hosted at AdvancedNetworkHosts, their support is great and I have seldom ever had problems.
