I’m swamped with work this week! It’s been this way since Saturday- from 8am to 12am, there’s so much to squeeze in!
I’ve had a lot of work this week. It’s good, I’m glad to be working, especially since last week was slow. So although I am very very busy (and thus too busy for an extended Word For Wednesday post!), the work is good, and I just love being productive.
So I did a quick search on “time” in the Bible, and this passage in Ephesians is just so rich!
See then that you walk circumspectly, not as fools, but as wise, redeeming the time, because the days are evil. Therefore do not be unwise, but understand what the will of the Lord is. And do not be drunk with wine, in which is excess, but be filled with the Spirit, speaking to yourselves in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing and making melody in your heart to the Lord; always giving thanks for all things to God the Father in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, submitting yourselves to one another in the fear of God. Ephesians 5:16-21

I’m glad to hear you’ve got lots of work. In these days, that’s a blessing indeed. And your scripture is appropriate. Sometimes the “will of the Lord” is to just work hard.
As a Mary-type and not a Martha-type, I prefer His will to include less work and more worship, reading, meditation, etc., but sometimes He just doesn’t see it my way.

I’ve got to say, I just love the photo. Clearly you are so pressured that you grew a Grouch Marx nose and glasses combo!
Mercy — take it easy!

I like to be busy. I’ve never been a Mary. If there’s nothing to do, I create projects. :D Or more blogs!
Yes! I sprouted the Groucho look! I love Groucho, btw. I used to stay up late to watch reruns of “You Bet Your Life” on cable TV.
