I know that I do. I have ALWAYS wanted to do it.
Microwave weird stuff. Like crayons. Or gum. Or a football or glue or soap!!!
I have always wanted to do it. But I can’t. You see, I don’t have a scientific research grant where I can do all sorts of dumb and wacky stuff and get PAID for it.
So… it’s VERY COOL when I find someone else who has done it and puts it on the web for all to enjoy, too! This is a fun site and I love the name: Easy Mac Micro Maniac. Doesn’t that SO sound like it’s from a scientific research grant?! The creme de la creme was when they tried Christmas lights. OH MY GOSH THAT IS SO COOL!!!
I am definitely going to try this, whenever I get a new microwave and can use my old one as a lab rat. Or, in case I ever get one of those nifty scientific research grants. ;)

My kids love to microwave Ivory soap. It is fun, science, easy to clean up, and the house smells fresh afterward. We then recycle the soap and make Oatmeal Soap.

I have just now realized how much fun I’m missing in life. I had no idea! I spend so much time trying to keep my husband in line. He used to be a chem-E and when we were dating his room mate was and electrical engineer and between the two of them they could reap all kinds of havoc on a small rental apartment, with a gas stove, a cabinet full of cleaning products, a spice rack, and an old television.
